Safir Surgical Instruments developed a QR based Strerization Management System with E-vet Software, on of the brands of Hasvet, at Akdeniz University Teknocity.

Taking inventory of Surgical Instruments and Surgical Instrument sets that are used in surgery operations, managing sterilization-stock-surgery-sterilization cycle, a software created to target reporting by recoreded data.

We as Safir Surgical Instruments are targeting tracking patient health, recordinf critical control points and traceability for surgial instruments with our software as well as operaiton comfort.

Traceabilty for instruments used,

• Typing a uniqe QR Code on each instrument with fiber laser method during production process.

• Recording the instruments to sterilization management software system with their names and product codes via QR code reader.

• Scanning QR code on instrument with reader in every process that instrument meets.

Benefits of traceability;

• Detecting surgical instrument sourced infections.

• Which instrument was used for which operation, by whom, who carried these instruments and in which conditions these are sterilized is recorded and critical control points are recorded.

• Avoid time loss during operation.

• We can record where the instrument was sterilized and sterilization conditions with communicating devices.

• System is able to send warning message when sterilization validity date of instrument in warehouse is ending

• Surgical Instruments waranty period and maintenance time can be displayed.

• Displaying all set contents and stock tracking easily.

• Displaying instrument history, from which processes that it passed.

• Detecting instruments with fault, instruments that need maintenance via system.

• Instruments which are lost after opertaion are reported as missing. Thus every lost can be tracked easily.
